7 - "Shut up! I love it!" - I Can think of nothing that could be changed to make it better. This is a Favorite.
6 - "It Don't Get Much Better" - Amazing. Oh the memorable moments, the fun, the pleasure. Not the best of the best, but a second tier favorite.
5 - "Faaaaaantastic!!!" - Very Enjoyable. Maybe some quotable dialogue and fun times. Maybe an aspect or two I didn't like, but I still really enjoyed it.
4 - "Well, That was good but not great" - Your average movie, a few problems but I was still entertianed overall.
3 - "Meh. Alright, I guess." - It was watchable, maybe had something entertaining, but I would not give it a second watch. It was hardly worth the first.
2 - "Whatever." - I don't get it or like it. It did nothing for me, but it wasn't so bad it pissed me off.
1 - "This is Butt Fudge, and I am Angry." - Pisses on my intelligance and insanity it's so bad. So awful it is memory pollution.

Figure:
Tara McClay and Willow Rosenburg
Series:
Expanded Buffyverse
Recipe:
This set of figures was fairly smiple. I had to chop a “Together Forever” Tara in half and put the upper part on the pants of a “Fear, Itself” Anya. I then added arms from a “Together Forever” Willow and painted the figure into Christmasy colors. Willow was made with the alternate parts. A “Together Forever” Willow haed and Toros has a “Togetehr Forever” Tara jacket and skirt/legs. She, too was painted for the holiday season.

Accessories:
This set included combining bases, a scarf for Willow and a giant overcoat for Tara. Ms. Kitty Fantastico is also in the Mix.
Reasoning Behind The Effort:
These figures were made after I saw DST’s own “Holiday Willow” figure. They sent a bunch to “radical” members, including my friend, but not me. So, I made my own.
Additional Thoughts
This Brass tacks. I love this set. I LOVE IT, and I regret selling it. The set has a great holiday feel. I love Tara’s shirt, and I really thought the set came out perfectly. It’s gone, and in the future, I may do another one at some point. (Figures completed in Winter 2005).
I really never knew how hilarious Chevy Chase was. his facial expressions are pretty fabulous, and he has excellent timing as well. Beverly D’Angelou is a talented lady, and the supporting cast offered plenty of fine moments as well. I dug this flic–it’s not one of the best movies I’ve ever seen nor a personal favorite–but that’s fine, not every movie needs to be. I still really dug it. I give Nat’l Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation a 5.
So, here’s the rub. As a child, I loved Home Alone. In fact, I would quote it constantly, desperate for attention and adoration. I thought that little Kevin McCallister, portrayed by Macaulay Culkin, was an ingenious tike, and I wanted to be him. Home Alone was one of my favorite holiday flics, and I loved it.
Of course, watching the movie, now, as an adult (kinda), I find the young Kevin a brat, and I kinda wish the burglars won–well, I won’t go that far, I didn’t want the movie to end with Kevin drowned in a river–BUT I’m not a big fan of him these days, and I think, “What a bratty little bastard” for most of the movie. He’s very different than say, Ralphy, in A Christmas Story. I really don’t like Kevin. I don’t like how treats his parents or his pranks on the pizza guy; but on the other hand, he is kind of funny. On top of that, the “Wet Bandits” do have it coming to them and watching them get the punishment they receive is very fulfilling.
My misgivings over Kevin’s brattiness aside, the characters are good and memorable–particularly Uncle Frank and Buzz. I really love the interaction of the family members; and on top of that, John Candy is excellent. The comedy is strong and constant, and The “action” is good too. The music rules, and I dig the subplot with the scary old man–every neighborhood has one, so it fit for me.
So, all that taken into account, I really like Home Alone, and I give it a 5. Yeah, the kid’s a dick, but the thieves deserve the beating they receive, and the cast all give stellar performances (Culkin pulls off the bratty kid really well). The comedy is consistent, and it’s still good, though the kid is a jerk.

Hi All, Merry Christmas again!
So, here’s an odd mash-up I was sent last year before I started watching Scrubs, so it wasn’t that funny. Now that I have seen 4 seasons of Scrubs, it’s great little fan vid. So, that being said, If you really like Scrubs check out this vid…if not, just check out the Will Vinton “Carol of the Bells” I posted earlier, HERE.
Hi all, you won’t believe this
Ohhhhhh, DANG! I can’t believe I found this. This is amazing. Growing up, from childhood well through high school, I loved The Muppet Family Christmas. This video blends the muppets from a variety of properties including Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, and Jim Henson’s Muppets. It features laughs and songs and simple sentimentality. Now, I share it all with you. Enjoy!!!!
Hi all, in honor of the upcoming Christmas Day, this End of the Week update will be a bit different than usual…
First and foremost, Happy Early Birthday to Jesus. He turns infinite+ on Tuesday. Good job.
Second, to all those who I will not see this holiday, I will miss you. In my honor, say something off-color, politically incorrect, or indecent. NOTE: Do this in front of an audience and/or listener who will appreciate it, not your Grandma…
Third, to all those who will miss me this Christmas, when you think of me, close your eyes and relive a wonderful moment we shared together. This could be a moment of drunken stupidity, a moment of filmmaking hilarity, a moment of embarrassment, or even a moment of calm, late night chatting. Remember it and cherish it.
Fourth, I intend to do the activity described in “third” throughout the holiday myself. Jason, I will certainly think of you getting punched in the face at Hanby. Chandler, I will think of your 8-minute “Shock the Monkey” video. Weigel, I think on our driving adventures in DC to the tunes of Rob Dougan. Dean, I will think of our writing meeting, when you asked me for cider. Everyone else, I have a myriad of memories that I will enjoy. We may not be together this holiday, but our love with live in our hearts and warm us through the day.
Fifth, I will be in Oregon over the holiday, spending time with my wife’s family. I foresee eating a plenty and enjoying hearty laughter. It will also be cold, which will remind me of Delaware. Good stuff.

Song of the Post: “The First Noel” performed by Clay Aiken on the album, American Idol - The Great Holiday Classics.
Well, I love David Foster’s version of my all-time favorite Christmas song, “Carol of the Bells”, and I stumbled across this Youtube video to share with all of you. The lights show is okay, but the real deal here is the music!
Song of the Post: “Carol of the Bells”, performed by David Foster.

In my opinion, it’s a perfect flic. I see nothing in it I would change or alter to improve it. It has poignant heart and sentimentality. It has good pacing and overall tone. All the performers, particularly Will Ferrell and Faison Love, did well–even the kid was okay in it. Most importantly, above all else of course, the movie was hilarious. It was hilarious. Between Will Ferrell’s silliness and everyone’s reactions to it, the movie had loads of laughs from start to finish.
I really can’t say enough about how much I love this movie, and I’m not gonna drown this out. ELF gets a 7 from me. It’s my favorite holiday film, and I look forward to watching it again, soon! I embeddded the trailer below.
