This figure was made by placing the head of a DST blonde Anya (from the “Book of Vengeance” 3-pack) on the torso of a Schoolgirl Darla, with the arms and legs of a Season 2 Darla. The Figure was then painted to match Anya’s top during the episode.
Accessories:
This Anya included a Sunnydale High School Library base and a sword, as used in the finale.
Reasoning Behind The Effort:
I had tried a “Chosen” Anya previously, but I wasn’t satisfied with it; so I attempted this one to do it better.
Additional Thoughts
I really, really loved this version of Anya. She’s great. She looks really good, maintained her articulation (everywhere but at the neck and waist) with minimal paint chipping, and she really felt like a newly made DST figure. She was good–she’s gone now, sold, but she was good while I had her. (FIGURE COMPLETED IN FALL 2006)
