from the late 1990s John Woo Film
Figures:
Caster Troy and Sean Archer
Series:
Films
Recipe:
These figures were relatively simple. Caster (the one on the left) was made by placing the head of aGhost Rider movie figure head on a DST deluxe “Destiny” Angel body. I then painted over the shirt to match Caster’s appearance in the movie. The Sean figure (on the right) was made by placing the jacket, arms, and legs of a “Waiting in the Wings” Wesley on the torso of a “Bad Girls” Wesley. I then used a season 4 Wesley for the head and painted the tie to match Archer’s appearance in the movie.
Accessories:
The figures included two Pedestal bases, two handguns for each, and an MP5 as used by John Travolta in the last sequence of the film.

Reasoning Behind The Effort:
Gotta love John Woo’s operatic and action-packed Face/Off, and these figures are a tribute to that.
Additional Thoughts
These are not perfect figures, but they are pretty danged cool. I really love them. The Travolta figure (that is, Sean Archer) leaves a little to be desired because of the likeness, but I think the Caster is pretty much as good as he’s gonna get. Over all this is a very, very solid set, and I regret pitching it on Ebay. Oh well, everything’s replaceable. Maybe my next set will be even better. (FIGURES COMPLETED IN SUMMER 2008)
