New Toy Article at Figures.com

Well, friends, I may no longer be doing toy writing for coin and collectibles, but past articles I’ve written are still seeing daylight.

Click this link to read an article I wrote entitled, “Where’s My Jabba’s Sail Barge?” , which was just posted today at Figures.com.

CC’s Big Writing Debut

So, as many of you know, I am the associate editor of SuperHeroTimes, and recently I launched a new feature on the site entitled, Graphic Novels in Focus, in which I recommend a particular Graphic Novel or Trade Paperback to our readers. The first article in the series has gone up, and it’s a doozy.

BIG CAREER UPDATE: STUNK’S NEW JOB! Kinda…

Greetings and Tidings! Greetings and Tidings!! Greetings and Tidings from one to you all, “WORLD, I LOVE YOU!”

null

Why am I so chipper, my friends? Well, my many reviews at Figures.com have paid off, and I have been asked to serve as a co-editor of their affiliate site, Super Hero Times. Yes, I am now editing another site. No pay, yet. I’m in a probationary period, which is fine for now; but should I not screw it up (which is a 70% chance, mind you), it may pan out into extra toy money–I mean extra money to spend on what we need. I’ll probably use it to help pay off some credit cards now that I thnk about it.

It’s hard to believe someone as stupid and imcompetant as me can juggle a single activity, let alone the stage, this new site, ebay, posting at Cinemabun.com, and my accounting job. I’m kind of like Forrest Gump, I suppose–only without the million-dollar shrimping company, military experience, and time with Elvis Presley. He has me beat there. We were both teased as kids though, so that’s something. Anyway, the stage has posts prepped for the next 6 six weeks, so expect daily stuff through October and hopefully until the end of the year. Come the New Year, however, I may go down to posting every other day. I don’t know.

Anyway, check out my inaugural original post HERE at Superherotimes, check the bottom to see my name, then come back here and comment on how good I did. It will make me feel good about myself and give me cause for celebration of the most frivolous nature!!!

CC at SDCC

Grace, Peace, and Thanks to you all. I write to you sitting on the throne of success…well, pseudo success…well, I met a few celebrities…well, I mean–you know what, I am just happy with myself.

Yes, my friends, the freelancing work of the last six months has paid off. I was treated to a wonderful 5 days at SAN DIEGO COMIC CON INTERNATIONAL at the end of July on the dime of Figures.com; and it was excellent. The parties, the panels, the products, it was all a blast from start to finish, with even my assigned work serving as an experience of fun and excitement. Along the way, I met a few celebrities, and I saw plenty of others. For my official coverage, click on any of the below links. I was part of a team of 6 guys, so please if you check out the stuff below, stay on Figures.com for a while and check out more great coverage from others also. It’s all good stuff!!!
