Fourth, in the same trip as the Guitar Hero trip, she let me get the clearanced Star Wars figs I mentioned above. Fifth, our guest room has been a mess, and she has allowed it.

End of the Week Update: 06/21/08

First, yesterday, I made the drive from Whittier, CA to Davis, CA some 400 miles away. It was excellent, and I got to enjoy loads of hot tunes–particularly “The Best of Zeppelin Volumes 1 & 2″. I enjoy the open road very much, and I look forward to tag-teaming the drive back with the Jamster on Sunday.

Second, Dean and I did some fantastic recording this week, and we look forward to continuing our Star Wars series with you in the weeks to come.

Fourth, I love my toy collection…until of course, I have to actually organize and sort it. Then I hate it, and wish I was a normal person. Life lesson? Keep your stuff organized so that you don’t have to go through those periods of hating it. Or have less stuff…

Fifth, Tonight I will be DJing my sister-in-law’s wedding. It is the first time I will be doing something like this, and I really hope I don’t suck. Though I might…we’ll see.

Second, I am getting ready for a big ebay run this summer, and I am exhuasted flabbergasted by how many toys I have. It’s both awesome and terrifying. I still have a few more boxes to go through, but come summer, I should be picking up a few bucks. What’s awesome is that much of it will be my customs, and I am looking forward to seeing how they do.

Third, I love the G.I. Joe cartoon from the 80s. i’ve been watching it online recently, and it is excellent.

End of the Week Update: 05/17/08

First, I think I may try to grill Hamburgers this week. I have grilled before, nor used my own grill (which my wife and I have had for nearly two years). Pray I do not incinerate both myself and my apartment.

Second, I am currently reading a trade paperback of the original G.I. Joe comic from Marvel, and it is excellent, so much so that beginning next week and throughout at least the next month, I will be putting up quotes from it as the quotes of the week.

Third, I am an idiot. I was trying to thinking of the verb form of the noun “Mandate”; and for a moment, I fully and completely thought it was “Mandatize”. Luckily my brain stopped my mouth from uttering this, and I realized that “Mandate” is the verb form for the noun “Mandate”.

First, Iron Man is the #1 movie in the world, a development which proves humanity still has a chance to achieve great things.

Second, Today I am going to be at Universal Studios with some relatives. Should be lots of fun.

Third, my nerdiness knows no ends, for this week I actually became frustrated (yes, for real frustrated) over my G.I. Joe pieces and whether or not to include my custom figures in my actual G.I. Joe collection OR develop a new series of my own devising with them. Yes, I was actually frustrated over this….for shame

Fourth, I was kinda disappointed by The Office this week.

Fifth, that free NIN album I posted on HERE was alright..I’d give it a 3 on the stage. My favorite stuff was toward the end–”Lights in the Sky” was my favorite song on the album. Overall, though, I can’t complain. It was free after all.

Movie Moment of the week: The whole island/beach sequence when EVERYONE is fighting for and chasing after the Dead Man’s Chest in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest
