What’s a “Meview”?
Okay, here’s the thing. There are 40,132,986 sites on the internet dedicated to giving movie reviews. The plot, the acting, the dialogue, the effects, and on and on and on. That’s fine. In fact, it’s great. But here’s the thing, the world doesn’t need another one, especially not one from me. So, I don’t give “reviews”, I give “meviews”. A “meview” is MY view on the movie, wholly subjective and completely personal. I don’t care if Roadhouse and Transformers don’t meet the standards of film critics and buffs, they are two of my favorites, so that’s how I call it. There’s no “guilty pleasures” here, there’s just my opinion. If I love a movie, that doesn’t mean everyone will or should, that’s what the meviews are.
FOLLOW-UP: So a “Meview” is really worthless in terms of critical movie commentary?
Yes.
-
FOLLOW-UP: So why should I read a “meview”?
For fun.
If I want you to meview a favorite movie of mine, will you?
If I have it or you want to send it to me, or I can borrow it from someone I know, sure.

What kind of topics do you talk about on the stage?
Anything I feel like really–movies, music, comics, toys, and random musings primarily. At times, I will post thoughts on matters of spirituality, religion, and culture. Sometimes, I will link to offsite material when I find an item I would like to share with the world. At times, I will also embed videos from youtube as well.
Do you have a Myspace page and can we be friends?
Unfortunately, I don’t have myspace at present, and I do not intend to get it in the future.
-
What is the rating/age demographic of your content?
This is a good question and a tough call. In earnest, I try to write without profanity, and I also like to keep my comments tasteful. However, I will cannot promise I will not become lazy and drop a word now and again. Also, some of my content could be considered questionable. So, I don’t know how to answer that.
-
If I e-mail you regarding your opinion on something, will you answer?
I will, on the site. Just be specific with your question, and I will give a stance on your issue. It may take me some time, but I will do it.
-
You’re a hopeful writer. If you sell a project, is this gonna just be a self-promoting site for your stuff?
Well, in a way, that’s what the site is already. It’s a stage from which I can discuss my thoughts and life, so while it will not become the official site of any of my works, should any get picked up or published, I will be using this as a platform to discuss them.
-
I’m starting a blog/site, can I link to you?
I am honored that you would desire others to read this crap. Absolutely! Let me know if you do also so that I can give you a shout-out in the blog section.
-
This is primarily a blog, but will you also have static content pages?
Yeah! I will. In fact, I intend to have several sections built for the site including a section on my current projects as well as my custom work. More subjects will come as I think they are worth doing.
-
Can I post on your site?
You can always comment, but as far as full articles are concerned, probably not. This is also an excellent question; and, at times, I think it would be nice to have individuals come to the stage. Unfortunately, I am obsessive-compulsive, and I will be very cautious about allowing others to use my personal site as a platform for them. If you would like to post, e-mail me, and we can talk about it, but I will be honest, I will most likely not be doing this often.
FOLLOW-UP: Then you’re a jerk.
That’s not a question, but okay, you’re right.
